Dear Kevin Blake,

We write in respect of the speculation regarding Housing deveopment at Burstead Gold Course and Richdan Farm.

We would strongly oppose any such proposals on the grounds of the infrastructure demand, increased pressure on schools, roads, medical services and of course buidiversity impact.

We understand the decision regarding allocation of sites from those submitted for consideration under the new LDF, has been reported in the local press as March 2008 (very soon).

We would ask for your help in further information and also urge the council to support more appropriate sites to fulfil the housing needs of Basildon District in the future.
